Connect ChatGPT or Claude
A space's team can connect ChatGPT or Claude to their tersOS and ask it about bookings, members, invoices and parcels, or have it do the work they allow. It takes two steps and no technical setup.
What you get
Once connected, the assistant knows your space the way the tersOS assistant does: who is in today, which rooms are free, which invoices are overdue, which parcels are waiting. Ask in plain language, and it answers from your live data. Where you allow changes, it can also act: book a room, record a payment, move a prospect, send a reminder. Every action goes through the same rules and logs as a staff member clicking in tersOS.
Connect in two steps
- In tersOS, open Settings → API keys. The section Connect ChatGPT or Claude shows your space's connection address. Copy it.
- In ChatGPT, go to Settings → Connectors → Create and paste the address. In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste it. The assistant sends you to tersOS to sign in with your usual account, you press Allow, and you are connected.
Only staff accounts can connect today; member accounts are next. Each person who connects signs in as themselves, so the assistant does what that person is allowed to do, nothing more.
Taking it away again
Settings → API keys lists every connected app under Connected apps. Disconnect ends that connection immediately; the assistant has to be allowed again to come back. Deactivating a staff account disconnects everything that account had allowed.
For developers
The connection is a standard Model Context Protocol server with OAuth 2.1 sign-in: clients discover it through /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server, register themselves, and go through an authorization-code flow with PKCE. Scopes are per module, read or write. The same server also accepts a tersOS API key as a bearer token for scripts and agents that do not sign in interactively.
